Escapism
Escapism is a result of an inability to establish meaningful friendships. This makes the person feel guilt and pointlessness in their lives, which makes them unhappy.
People that have an inability to make friends genuinely feel that it is their fault. They try there best to make conversation with people and create new friendships with people.

It is a diversion by creating entertainment or an activity,
as an "escape" from the perceived unpleasant aspects of daily life.
Escapism can also be the actions people take to help relieve feelings of depression or general sadness. But it is known that escapsim can result in depression, the person gets used to their alternate reality and cannot cope with going back to living normal lives.
What do you do when your alone?
After looking at the different answers given for
‘What do you do when your alone?’.
It made me think about how people distract themselves with different things when alone.
I looked at how people have become vigilante’s and belive that they can help others by dressing up in superhero costumes and becoming someone-else. I believe that people do this because they lack the confidence in themselves outside of the costumes. Vigilantie’s are not trying to fit in with the crowd but are looking for time away from reality, Escapism.

Incognito
For this project i decided to look into incognito, its the idea of someones identity being disguised or concealed. I thought of looking at peoples habits and parts of there personalities that they keep to themselves. I decided that i'm going to ask friends and familiy about things they do when there alone that no-one or hardly anyone knows about. Guilty Pleasures. <3

The Sensorial Dimension - WOUND magazine
For this module, i have to create a photoshoot for a magazine. I was given WOUND magazine, i found it really difficult to get hold of them and to order back copies of the mazine itself. I did however manage to get images from there website to see the layout of the magazine and the graphics used.
The Sensorial Dimension
I know this post is well over-due, but these are some of the images that inspired me for my 'styling for editorial' module at uni.
I began by looking at images that inspired me for this title. This theme then lead me to look at supernatural ‘moments’ captured on camera, almost like capturing a moment like a still from a piece of film. This then lead me to look at films that have a presence about them, films such as Phantom of the Opera and most recently ‘Black Swan’.
This then inspired me to look into the ‘Unknown’. I began to research intuition, gut feelings and things that can not be described but can be portrayed into an image. I found a book called ‘pictures of silence’ that i thought was appropriate for my new found theme. As silence cannot necessarily become an image but somehow within this book images give us the impression of ‘silence’. This portrayal of an un-describable feeling is what I aim to achieve within my photo shoot.

I LIKE SILK
After a walk round liverpool city centre, i decided to watch 'Breathless' again to re-gain some inspiration for my project. As i am also required to design for menswear, i decided to pay more attention to the male role within the film, i noticed that although the film is about Michel Poiccard, the female role within the film is much stronger. In one part of the film an acquaintance of Michel notes that he is wearing silk socks with a tweed jacket----could this be a basis for my menswear designs?
