For the Breathless concept design project, i based my designs on relationships and the way couples interact

I LIKE SILK

 After a walk round liverpool city centre, i decided to watch 'Breathless' again to re-gain some inspiration for my project. As i am also required to design for menswear, i decided to pay more attention to the male role within the film, i noticed that although the film is about Michel Poiccard, the female role within the film is much stronger. In one part of the film an acquaintance of Michel notes that he is wearing silk socks with a tweed jacket----could this be a basis for my menswear designs?

Combination

This image combines a still from 'Breathless' and a photo taken in Paris by myself. i love the combination formed because by glancing a the image, the buliding also appears to be the car in the still, but is obviously not when you look closer.

À bout de souffle

For a project in uni, i've been asked to design collections for both womens and menswear. My ressearch should be based upon the film Breathless (A bout de souffle). The film is about Michel a french thief that is on the run after killing a policeman, he returns to Paris to find Patricia an American living and working in Paris to ask her to run away to Rome with him. The Police finally catch up with Michel and in a dramatic final scene, shoot and kill him. I have been researching Patricia's attitude towards Michel and her reluctance to run away with him.
